Loved/Hated QWOP? Then You're Most Certainly Going to Love/Hate GIRP

The Indiegames.com blog has once again let us in on another amazing/horrifying game: GIRP. If that doesn’t make you excited/terrified, this may do the trick: it’s from the creator of QWOP, the most ruthless/brilliant running simulator on the planet.

GIRP is a climbing game, where you must hold letters on the keyboard to grab handholds, all while holding Shift, Ctrl, or Left-Click to pull yourself up. Just like QWOP, it’s hilariously ingenious/stupidly difficult, and regardless of which opinion you hold, you’ll probably find yourself spending your entire Tuesday playing this one. Play it here.

His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
