Lovely PS3 Exclusive Puppeteer Getting a Demo in Japan This Week

Looks like we will be able to put our greedy hands on one of the most unique between the PS3 exclusives coming this year quite soon, as Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia announced this morning with a press release that Puppeteer is going to get a demo version.

The demo, named “Rehearsal Version”, will be available on June the 27th on the Japanese PSN.

At the moment it’s not known if a localized version of the demo will be made available on the European and North American stores, but considering that the PS3 is region free and making a Japanese account to download demos from the local PSN is quite easy, we’ll be able to get an early taste of Puppeteer anyway.

That said, we’ll keep you up to speed in the case anything is announced about a localized demo. In the meanwhile, time to dust those Japanese PSN accounts. If you checked this site recently you probably have one anyway, and it shouldn’t have much dust on, either.

The full version of Puppeteer is in development at SCE Japan Studio and will be released on September the 10th in North America and on the 11th in Europe.
