Luftrauser, a NOT-Vlambeer Game, Looks and Sounds Downright Magical

So here’s a mind-bender for you: Luftrauser is a glorious-looking new WWII dogfighting game from the guys that brought you Super Crate Box. No, not Vlambeer; I mean the literal developers that created SCB. Yes, that team would like to make it clear that even though the Vlambeer team is involved in this one, Luftrauser is┬ánot a Vlambeer production.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, here’s the meat of it: Luftrauser is a WWII airplane game in a retro style, and judging from the new gameplay trailer that just went up, it’s going to be a huge hit. The gameplay looks solid, the art looks great, and the sound design is just amazeballs. The team is currently looking for sponsors, so by God, someone please help get this game out to the public.

His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
