Mad Max Developers Cryptic Towards the Possibility of Second-Screen Functionality and PC Mod Support

Mad Max, an adaptation of the Mad Max film franchise, will be hitting current and past-generation consoles next year. In the meantime, the game’s developers have been answering questions regarding the game’s lore and what features will be available in and out of the game itself when it launches. Prospects are not high for second-screen and mod support on the PC version at this time.

In a recent interview with AusGamers, Avalanche Studios Senior Game Designer Emil Kraftling and Community Manager Tomas Wilborgh commented on the possibility of Mad Max incorporating a second-screen experience. “I don’t know, actually. I’ll have to look that up,” Mr. Kraftling answered, with Mr. Wilborgh adding that, “It’s not something we’re talking about today anyways.”

“I don’t think that’s something that we’re really talking about right now, or focusing on right now,” Mr. Kraftling explained when asked about PC mod support, “but we are well aware of the community we have and we just love all of the stuff that people have done with Just Cause 2.”

Mad Max is being developed by Avalanche Studios and will be published by WB Interactive Entertainment next year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
