Madden NFL 17 Gets an Update Prior to Ultimate Team Freeze Event

While Madden NFL 17 fans are anticipating the Freeze winter event in the game’s Ultimate Team mode, EA Tiburon released a new update for the game, which fixed bugs and prepared the game for the aforementioned Freeze event.

  • Addressed a gameplay issue where a receiver who was hot routed would switch back to his previous assignment if he was motioned and not fully set.
  • Addressed a gameplay issue where the QB would freeze after hot routing a running back and motioning him out before he became fully set.
  • Various upgrades to improve the Madden Ultimate Team Holiday experience.
  • Enhanced preparations to help deal with the upcoming Freeze.

DualShockers reviewed Madden NFL 17 and gave it an 8.0, saying that “Madden NFL 17 proves that there is still a lot of life and improvements to be had in this long running series”. The game is currently available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
