Madden NFL Arcade Headed to XBLA and PSN

Looks like EA is bringing back NFL Street, without the… errm street part if that makes any sense. Headed to both the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network this winter is Madden NFL Arcade. It’s an over the top 5 vs 5, 60 yard gridiron contest. There are no penalties or field goals anywhere in sight. There aren’t any quarters either, as the winner is chosen by the first person to reach 30 points. So if that isn’t enough to convince you that this game is a glorified “Street” game then maybe if you hear about it’s “Gamebreakers ” I mean “Game Changers” that will allow you to “break the game wide open on a single play” you’ll be more of a believer. The game allows for 4 player co-op on the same console, so you can get your friends in on the action. You can also take the action on-line in head to head matches where you can also keep track of online leader boards. The game will come with support for trophies and achievements, and will be available this December for 1200 MS points or $14.99 respectively. Check out the gallery below for all of the recent screenshots of the game!
