Earlier this month, developer Hangar 13 and publisher 2K announced release windows for the previously announced three story expansions for Mafia III, as well as provided further details for each.

The first of these expansions, is called Faster Baby!, and at the time it was given a "March" release window, and the following story overview:

Fast cars, dramatic chases, and epic stunt driving take center stage as Lincoln joins forces with Roxy Laveau, a sister-in-arms out to take down a corrupt Sheriff terrorizing Civil Rights activists on the outskirts of New Bordeaux.

Further, the developer said the DLC contained intense action, highlighted by “thrilling stunt driving and high octane car chases in the bayou!”

Today, Hangar 13 announced the expansion will arrive on March 28, 2017, as well as provided additional details.

To begin, the DLC is set in Sinclair Parish, a new environment that is nearby New Bordeaux. According to Hangar 13 the new environment is unique, looks notably differently from New Bordeaux, and is trying to protect itself in every wrong way.

The DLC also has a character named Roxie, who will be a companion to Lincoln, and present throughout most of the DLC. It also has the following new features:

  • You can now slow down time while driving
  • You can now throw explosives from your car, both behind or ahead of you
  • New explosive type: proximity mines
  • Two new vehicles
  • Two new outfits
  • New Activity called "Herbalism" which takes place with the new character MJ. The new activity gives you the opportunity to grow your criminal empire

A price point for each individual DLC has not been revealed. Mafia III is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
