Today, Borealys Games announced Mages of Mystralia for the PS4, an action-adventure game where players design their own spells to overcome puzzles and fight enemies. As of right now, the game is slated for release on PS4 and PC sometime in spring 2017.

Written by Ed Greenwood, the creator of Dungeons and Dragons' popular Forgotten Realms setting, Mages of Mystralia is about a young girl named Zia who is born with magical powers in a kingdom where magic is banned. As a result, she sets out to train on her own, which in turn is where the game's core mechanic of spell creation comes into play.

Mages of Mystralia will be at PlayStation Experience 2016 from December 3rd  to December 4th, where attendees will be able to play through a complete area of the game.
