Don't have anything to do this weekend? Why not stop by at Maryland for some gaming and music celebrations?

MAGFest, the annual convention that hosts a weekend-long celebration of video games and music, will be taking place starting today and running through the weekend in National Harbor, Maryland, with the festival once again set to combine the thrills and artistry of gaming and music together in its 12th installment, such as live concerts and performances, tournaments, panels, film screenings, and other activities and events.

In addition to the festivities, MAGFest 12 will also be hosting an indie game showcase over the course of the weekend, with the festival set to give hands-on time and space with 22 indie titles to attendees, including Paranautical Activity by Code Avarice, and Hermit Crag in Space by Golden Ruby Games. You can check out the full list of indie titles that will be demoed at MAGFest here.

MAGFest 12 will be running from January 2nd-5th, 2014 at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. Pre-registration tickets are currently no longer available through the festival's official site, but tickets will be sold at-the-door for the event for single-day passes (Friday/Saturday - $40, Thursday/Sunday - $20) and four--day passes ($60).
