Magic the Gathering and Shuggy Hit XBLA This Week

on June 13, 2011 3:00 PM

This week will see the release of two new titles on XBLA; Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 and The Adventures of Shuggy. Shuggy is an interesting puzzle-platforming game where the title character has inherited a castle that has 100 rooms full of enemies that he must clear out to make it inhabitable. Magic 2012 is well, Magic the Gathering. An updated version of the extremely popular previous version it features new Planeswalkers to battle, new decks from the upcoming release of cards in real life, and many additions that fans requested in the previous version including better deck editing, 2 vs 2 online multiplayer, 3 vs 1 online co-op, and head to head.

Both titles will be available Wednesday for 800 Microsoft Points, and Magic the Gathering will also be available on Steam and PSN for $10. Look for our review of Magic the Gathering 2012 coming soon.
