Major Nelson on Kinect in Every Xbox One Box: “an Entire World of New Experiences Becomes Possible”

The “forced” inclusion of Kinect in every box has received very mixed reactions from gamers, but Microsoft is very firm in its belief that it’s a valid choice, as Xbox Live’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb told [a]ListDaily.

We believe in Kinect and its ability to revolutionize the way people interact with their games and entertainment. Putting Kinect in every box allows all Xbox One users to experience its power. It also becomes a fundamental part of every system sold. When game developers, content creators and entertainment partners can count on Kinect as a part of every Xbox One, an entire world of new experiences becomes possible.

Personally, I’m still not completely sold on Kinect, but that’s mostly because I like to pay only for what I actually want to use. Will Microsoft manage to ever turn me into a believer? It’s too early to know for now.
