Major Nelson on Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare in New Video: Visuals Colorful, “Especially for a Shooter”

Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the Director of Programming for Xbox Live, has gotten his hands on EA’s upcoming third-person tower defense title Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.

In this preview video, Major Nelson goes through various features of the game that really stood out to him while playing the 24 player Gardens and Graveyards gameplay mode. For instance, he states that the colorful and vibrant visuals were a joy to look, “especially for a shooter” at but belie the sophisticated experience.

We also get a rundown of the four different classes available on either side–zombies and plants. You can check out the video below.
