There’s been a lot of news regarding Sucker Punch’s upcoming PS4 title, inFamous: Second Son, especially on just how beautiful the game looks. The newest trailer, “Make It Rain,” takes it a little further, showing how the developers created Second Son‘s Seattle into the gorgeous replication it’s being made to be.

With input from Sucker Punch’s technical art lead Jason Connell, game director Nate Fox, art director Horia Dociu and environment artist Josh Rife, the one thing that each of the developers touched upon is how the city as a setting makes the game stand out even more. Seattle to many is a miserable looking city of fog and rain, but these are also two effects in gaming that when pulled off right makes visuals dynamic and stunning.

With little details like puddle-stained alleys and water-streaked buildings, inFamous: Second Son‘s Seattle may turn out to be one of the best looking games to kick off this new generation of gaming. For another look at some behind-the-scenes footage on the effects in the game, you may also want to check out the “Smoke and Mirrors” trailer.
