Another week, another addition of classic Nintendo games to the Virtual Console. The Nintendo 64 version of Mario Golf, and the unreleased Famicom game VS Excitebike, are now both available to purchase on the Wii U Virtual Console.

Mario Golf has 10 modes of play and six 18-hole courses in a variety of environments. Running similar graphics with Mario 64, Golf is quite colorful and features local multiplayer and easy controls for relaxed play. Mario Golf will cost $9.99 and originally released for the Nintendo 64 on Jun 11, 1999 in Japan and on June 30, 1999 in the US.

Meanwhile VS Excitebike is a much more interesting given that it never released in the United States. This Famicom game released in 1988 four years after the arcade version. This remake featured a two player mode, remixed soundtrack, the ability to save tracks, and an “Original Excite” mode based on the original with a changed color palette. This NES classic is now available for $4.99.
