The Mario Party series has long been known for bringing accessible fun for everyone, with the upcoming 3DS title Mario Party: Star Rush doing that and more to make sure that everyone can join in for its board game-esque fun.During today's Nintendo Direct broadcast, Nintendo shared some new footage of the upcoming Mario Party: Star Rush, showing more of the game's new boards and functionality with numerous amiibo figurines.In addition to the new footage, Nintendo also revealed that the game will support multiplayer for up to four players through one purchased copy of the game, with the company to release a free piece of software called Mario Party: Star Rush - Party Guest.Using one copy of the game, the other users can download the "Party Guest" software from the eShop to be able to join and play alongside friends without limitations, alongside other options such as Download Play and local wireless multiplayer between multiple copies of the game.New amiibo figurines in the "Super Mario" line will also be released to coincide with the game and include functionality, with the seven new figurines to include Donkey King, Diddy Kong, Rosalina, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, and Boo (which will also glow in the dark).Mario Party: Star Rush will release for 3DS on October 7th, 2016 in Europe, October 8th, 2016 in Australia, and on November 4th, 2016 in North America.
