Fighting game enthusiasts have had much to look forward to throughout the year including Killer Instinct: Season Two and the newly-announced Street Fighter V, though if you want to join in on an old classic, now might be the best time to do so before it's too late.

Capcom announced that Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, the rereleased revival of the classic Marvel vs. Capcom will be retired from XBLA and PSN by the end of the year. Specifically, Capcom detailed that Origins will be leaving PSN on December 23rd, followed by an XBLA final bow on December 31st.

Though Capcom didn't give a specific reason for the game leaving both online services, though it wouldn't be out of the question that the game could have had its license expired on both services. Coming from Divekick developer Iron Galaxy, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins includes both Marvel vs. Capcom and Marvel Super Heroes with updated visuals, online spectator modes, and other additions to the classic titles.

Marvel vs. Capcom Origins will leave XBLA and PSN by the end of December, so make sure to grab it on either platform before it throws in the towel for good.
