Mass Effect 3 is already garnering tremendous accolades just three days after its release. With an average rating of 9.5 and over thirty perfect scores from sources including MSNBCGame Informer, G4TV, the New York Daily News, Eurogamer, The Guardian, PlayStation: The Official Magazine, Official Xbox Magazine, and more,  it is no wonder USA Today is hailing it as “the first true blockbuster game of the year.”

Demand for this eagerly awaited title is huge, and Bioware and its publisher EA responded in kind, shipping an ambitious 3.5 million units to retailers worldwide in the week of its release.

Dr. Ray Muzyka, Co-Founder of BioWare and General Manager of EA’s BioWare Label, says “We have been truly humbled by the amazing response from fans and critics for Mass Effect 3… We are all incredibly proud of Casey Hudson and the teams in Edmonton and Montreal for delivering the best game BioWare has ever made.”

He enjoys games with a strong emphasis on story, which typically fall into the RPG, Action/Adventure, or Horror genres, though he also has a soft spot for fighting games and has been known, when feeling saucy, to shred on some Guitar Hero or Rock Band.
