While details around it have been relatively vague at this time, the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda is surely one of the most highly-anticipated projects coming within the next year, though one creative change will be happening with the title’s lead writer departing for a new venture.

Mass Effect: Andromeda lead writer Chris Schlerf announced through Twitter of his departure from Bioware, with Schlerf explaining that he will be moving over to Bungie at the next point of his career. Before his time with Bioware working on Andromeda, Schlerf previously worked at 343 Industries as a senior writer on Halo 4.

While Schlerf’s departure may rise some concerns over Andromeda, he explained in a series of tweets that the title “is really gonna blow people away; couldn’t be prouder to be part of it, & excited like a lil kid to play the final when it’s out.”

Mass Effect: Andromeda is expected to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2016.
