Massive Chalice Kickstarter Update Features One (Of Three) Interviews With Project Lead Brad Muir

on June 11, 2013 9:46 PM

We have a new update for Double Fine’s Massive Chalice Kickstarter–an interview with the project lead Brad Muir and his dazzling smile. The interview is so long, however, that it will be posted in three installments. In the first part, Brad recounts his childhood experience of growing up as a gamer in Michigan and how family and games shaped his professional career. It also explores Brad’s college days and the struggle to learn development at a time when it was hardly taught, to the years he spent at a number of development studios before finding work at Double Fine.

And in other news, Double Fine has announced a stretch goal of sorts for Massive Chalice, which is called the “Million Dollar Teamstream.” If they can get reach the $1,000,000 mark, they will be able to host livestreams every other week that feature concept artwork, gameplay footage, Q and A sessions and more.

The interview video is posted below for your enjoyment (beware, it’s 30 minutes long). And if you’d like to contribute to the campaign, you can go here.
