Game development studio and online publisher Heatwave Interactive announced yesterday that they have acquired the award-winning Intellectual Properties of Gods & Heroes.  The company will bring Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising, which was halted in production during closed beta in 2007, to Massively Multiplayer Online fans soon! Heatwave Interactive, using the God & Heroes and/or Star Trek Online game engines by Perpetual Entertainment, will also release a new MMO based on becoming a star in the music industry.

The title Platinum Life will be a full-scale MMO on the PC.  This March gamers who are interested by this prospect will surely notice Platinum Life: Web Edition, which will be making its appearance on the internet as well as social networks like Facebook and Myspace as a prelude to the real thing.  Heatwave Interactive has also announced that PlayGrid will be the operating platform for all online games planned for release from the developer.  You can also keep a look out for some authentic Samuel Jackson quotes soon in an iPhone/iPod/iPad app from Heatwave called iSamJackson.  Check out some screens below of the resurrected MMO PC title Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising:
