Today Piranha Games published the first of a series of Developer Interviews to introduce the team to the fans of the upcoming MMORPG MechWarrior Online. The first to sit down for a Q&A session is the lead artist, Alex Iglesias.

Alex has drawn mechs for about 17 years, and shows a quite artistic hatred for furries.

The interview also inlcuded some quite lovely concept art for the Atlas Assault Mech, a scary 100-ton fella armed with one autocannon, four lasers and two missile launchers. That’s quite a punch to pack.

You can read the interview, and in the meanwhile you can also enjoy the artwork past the cut. Personally, I can’t wait to put my greedy hands on that baby.
