Today, Media Create released its weekly sales chart of the Japanese video game market.
For the week between June 26th and July 2nd, Atlus' new release Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology has managed to prevent ARMS from making it a three-peat, taking the top-spot away from the new Nintendo IP. ARMS didn't fall far though, grabbing the No.2 spot. Rounding out the top five is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Osomatsu-San: The Game – Hang-Up Finding Employment Advice – Dead or Work, and Portal Knights in that order.
As for the hardware charts, they have once again been toped by the Switch -- which recently surpassed 1 million units in Japan and has been No.1 on the hardware charts since its launch. However, if you combine the sales of PS4 and PS4 Pro, then together they surpass the Switch by roughly 3,000 units.
All of this week’s new additions to the Top 20 include: Osomatsu-San: The Game – Hang-Up Finding Employment Advice – Dead or Work at No. 2, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology at No.1, Portal Knights at No.5, LEGO City Undercover at No.9, Call of Duty: Black Ops III Game of the Year Edition at No.11, Tsumigui: Sen no Noroi, Sen no Inori for V at No.14, and Karumaruka Circle at No. 17.
