Today, Media Create released its weekly sales chart of the Japanese market.

For the week between May 22nd and May 28th, we finally have a new top-dog on the software charts after Mario Kart 8 Deluxe topped the charts for three straight weeks. The new king? Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana on PS4 from developer Nihon Falcom and publisher NIS America, who published the game outside of Japan.

Meanwhile, on the hardware front, the Nintendo Switch has once again topped the charts: surprising no one.

All the new additions to this week’s top 20, include: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (No.1), Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers (No.3), Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2 (No.5), and Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13 Power-Up Kit (No.15).
