Today, Capcom has unveiled new information regarding Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2.

According to the publisher, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will be launching on July, 24 for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 is a compilation featuring all eight entries in the Mega Man X series.

Much like the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 announced for the Switch earlier this year, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will be physically packaged as one title for $39.99 and will include two separate discs for each collection. However, if you buy the game physically for the Nintendo Switch, you will receive Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 on a cartridge and a digital voucher for Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2. Of course, if you are not interested in getting the game physically or you want one compilation over the other, you can get either of the two compilations for $19.99 each.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 includes the first four installments, Mega Man X Mega Man X2, Mega Man X3, and Mega Man X 4. While Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 includes the last five titles.

Initially debuting as a spin-off series for Capcom's notable blue bomber in 1993, the Mega Man X series hasn't seen a new main entry in the franchise since 2004's Mega Man X8. Despite being under the radar in recent years, the Mega Man X series is loved by many (including myself) and seeing this franchise coming to current-generation platforms has been a long time coming.
