Have you been dying to get your hands on Metroid Prime: Blast Ball? Probably not, but even so — the three-on-three Metroid-like shooting game will be free-to-play from now until early September. With many online still critical about Metroid Prime: Federation Force, it seems like Nintendo is trying to tempt fans of the series to test the waters out beforehand.

First unveiled at Nintendo World Championships 2015, Metroid Prime: Blast Ball has players compete in Rocket League-esque type matches with the aim to score three goals in five minutes.

Metroid Prime: Federation Force comes exclusively to Nintendo 3DS on August 19, 2016. You can download Blast Ball via Nintendo’s eShop.
