Mevius Final Fantasy Gets Name Change to Mobius, More Modest Armor; Lots of Gorgeous Gameplay Shown

Remember the gorgeous Mevius Final Fantasy for Android and iPhone? During a livestream today, Square Enix announced that it won’t be called Mevius anymore, but Mobius Final Fantasy.

During the livestream, quite a lot of stunning gameplay was also shown, as you can see in the full video below.

Incidentally, when the first screenshots of the game were showcased, many took issues at the main character’s rather revealing attire, which was then revealed to belong to the basic job (onion warrior). During the livestream it was mentioned that the armor has been altered to a different and more modest design.

Fans of exposed bishonen shouldn’t worry too much, though, as there’s still plenty of skin in sight.

Funnily, when they first announced the game, I was very surprised by the name that has now been changed. Mevius is a rather popular cigarette brand in Japan.
