Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain finally launched this week, and as one of the most anticipated games of 2015, the game’s launch was somewhat muddled by online issues. The Forward-Operating Base feature and microtransactions, supported by the game’s online servers were not operating at expected functions due to server issues on launch day.
Konami has since been quiet in the few days since Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain came out, but today quietly updated the website with server operating status to show that the Xbox servers of the game were now operating normally.
As you can see, on a global scale, the Xbox One versions of the game are the only ones with fully-operating servers. It may be due to a smaller player base, but now Xbox players can enjoy all the online features The Phantom Pain has to offer.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is now available on PS4, PC, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
