Michael Keaton Joins Need for Speed Film Adaptation

Michael Keaton, known for his work in Batman, Batman Returns, and Beetlejuice, has been cast in the film adaptation of the popular street-racing franchise, Need for Speed. He joins Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Imogen Poots, Kid Cudi, Ramon Rodriguez, Rami Malik, Harison Gilbertson, and Dominic Cooper.

Scott Waugh (Act of Valor) will direct an original screenplay (not based on any specific Need for Speed game) written by John (Coach Carter) and George Gatins (Real Steel). The film will be produced by DreamWorks Pictures and distributed by Touchstone Pictures.

Need for Speed will be debut in theaters on February 7th, 2014.
