Today, developer Codemasters released the first Micro Machines World Series gameplay trailer, which beyond showing off what the game actually looks like for the first time, showcases the all-new, chaotic Battle Modes.

According to Codemasters, the Battle Modes pit you up to against 12 other players in the same arena for "frantic and frenetic competitive multiplayer gaming." The new Battle Modes include Capture the Flag and Territory, as well as 6v6 Team Deathmatch.

The new modes can be played across 15 different battle arenas, including The Laser Lab, Buzzsaw Battle, and my personal favorite the Hungry Hungry Hippos board. Players can customize their experience with 12 new vehicles to choose from, including the Spy Car, Hovercraft, Monster Truck or G.I. Joe H.I.S.S Tank, each with its own strengths and weapons. Each vehicle has a swath of skins to add further variety in customization. Meanwhile, Emotes, Victory Poses and Grave Stamps have also been implemented to add some spice to the game.

For those wondering, Micro Machines World Series will also retain some of the series' classic modes like Race and Elimination as well. It includes both online and local multiplayer (up to four players).

The trailer notably also confirmed that Brian Blessed is involved with the game.

Micro Machines World Series is set to launch on June 23rd for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Below, you can check out the new trailer, as well as six new screenshots:
