A new gameplay trailer was released today for Koch Media and Codemasters' reinvigoration of a classic franchise with Micro Machines World Series.

Racing will take on a new form as Micro Machines World Series attempts to bring back the arcade style design. In addition to the classic style cars, Hasbro items such as Nerf blasters and other various power-ups will be scattered around the tracks. Speaking of tracks, all of the ones in the game will be focused around Hasbro merchandise like Hungry Hungry Hippos or Ouija.

Although John Moschitta Jr. will not be returning to the game, Brian Blessed will be the announcer in Micro Machines World Series.  Chief Game Designer Gavin Cooper adds:

“For the first time in a Micro Machines game, every car has its own entirely distinct personality... and arsenal! Each gives players a different way to play and enjoy the game, meaning fans of the series will have plenty to sink their teeth into.”

A total of twelve vehicles will be available at launch, with the possibility of more added post-release. Before you ask, yes there will be a G.I. Joe centered track and boat included in the game as well.

Micro Machines World Series will launch on Xbox One and PS4 as well as PC on June 23rd, 2017. No decision has been made on a Nintendo Switch release at this time.
