Today. during their Gamescom press conference, Microsoft announced the definitive version of last year's Xbox One console exclusive, Recore.

The new version of the game will feature HDR support. It'll also be getting 4K enhancements through the Xbox One X once the new console launches in November.

A new tank companion named T8-NK is also being added to the game as well as a new adventure named Eye of Obsidian. Many of these things were promised to be coming as DLC but for those of you who already own Recore, you'll be receiving a free upgrade to the definitive edition of the game along with all the new additions it has to offer.

Recore was originally announced back at E3 2015. It was co-developed by the studio behind Mighty No. 9, Comcept and Armature Studio. The game's official Twitter account teased an announcement at Gamescom earlier this week. If you've never played Recore, Microsoft offers a free trial of the game that you can check out.

Recore: Definitive Edition will be available as a console exclusive on Xbox One and PC on August 29. You can check out the new trailer for the game down below.
