Following a big holiday push from Microsoft filled with exclusives and special offers, the company is continuing that trend for the next few weeks to bring in even more potential console owners for the Xbox One with announcing a price drop and big digital offers coming throughout the month.

Microsoft announced that due to the “amazing response from gamers” and “record-setting U.S. sales and record global engagement during the week of Black Friday,” the company will be retaining the Xbox One at a price drop to $50 off for all bundles and consoles as it did during its Black Friday offerings.

The price drop will be available starting today, December 9th, and will last through December 26th, 2015 with the offer valid on all Xbox One consoles and bundles, such as the Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition bundle, the Xbox One Elite Bundle, and the 1TB Holiday Bundle, featuring copies of Gears of War: Ultimate EditionRare Replay, and Ori and the Blind Forest, with the holiday pricing for consoles starting at $299 and up.

In addition to the price drop on consoles and bundles, Microsoft also announced its annual “Countdown” sale, which Microsoft claims as “the biggest digital games sale of the year for the Xbox Store.” The sale will run from December 22nd – January 7th, and will offer 40-60% discounts on over 200 digital titles, alongside various weekly and daily deals during the course of the sale to celebrate the holidays and ring in the new year.
