Though we're now just in the start of 2015, there are still plenty of places to nab up some of those games you just never got around to playing, including plenty of great options over on the Xbox Games Store with Microsoft's Countdown to 2015 sale still going strong.

Originally planned to run until December 31st, 2014, over on Major Nelson's blog the company has announced that the Countdown to 2015 Sale will be extended to January 6th, 2015 to give players an extra shot at grabbing discounted games.

Though the sale's Daily Deals are over, the sale's selection of Weekly Deals have been extended to January 6th, giving players plenty of opportunity to still grab an excellent selection of titles across all of 2014, including Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Destiny, Alien: Isolation, and way more.
