Microsoft Giving a Free Game to Those With Xbox One Disc Drive Issues

New owners of the Xbox One who have found themselves with faulty disc drives in their console will recieve a free game, according to emails from Microsoft support staff.

The deal only appears to be available to those who use the “Advanced Exchange Program,” which allows a user to put down a deposit and get a working console shipped to them. Once the console arrives, they can then ship off their faulty hardware and get the deposit back.

The selection is made up of Dead Rising 3Forza Motorsport 5Ryse: Son of Rome or Zoo Tycoon. All of these titles are available as digital downloads, with the intent being that owners are still able to play the game even while they’re stuck with a console with a faulty disc drive.
