The Xbox One isn't exactly doing great in Japan, with weekly sales across the country dropped to 259 last week according to Media Create.

Yet, Microsoft isn't giving up, and today they announced that the white limited edition Xbox One bundle with Halo: The Master Chief Collection is going to launch in the archipelago of the rising sun on February 19th for 39,980 yen ($341) plus taxes.

But that's not all, in order to push the bundle, Microsoft is offering an "advance purchase campaign," granting a 5,000 yen ($43) discount to anyone who will purchase or pre-order the bundle before March 1st. This brings the bundle down to a very affordable 34,980 yen (roughly 298 bucks) plus taxes.

The bundle includes the 500 Gigabytes white console, its usual equipment, a code to download Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and a Xbox Live Gold 14 day trial code.

Will the discounted bundle manage to revitalize Xbox One sales in Japan? Time will tell, but the white console definitely looks spiffy. A cheaper white console is even better.
