Internet giant China Telecom has entered a partnership with Microsoft for the Chinese Launch of the Xbox One, the companies announced.

The deal will see China Telecom act as the exclusive carrier provider for the Xbox One in China, allowing people to enjoy the "games and entertainment experience at home."

Speaking to Reuters, Microsoft China spokeswoman Joanna Li said that as part of the deal, China Telecom's customers will enjoy an exlusive offer on the Xbox One.

When Xbox One launches in September, in addition to the China Telecom consumer offer, it will also be available to the general public for purchase at retail.

The partnership gives Microsoft access to China Telecom's 30 million broadband consumers.

The Xbox One is set for a September launch in China, with the exact pricing and release date still unknown.
