Microsoft Stores Offer $100 to “Ditch Your PS3” and Trade-In Toward An Xbox One

When it comes to promotions and special offers for its latest console, it seems like Microsoft is willing to be pretty daring and out there: case in point, their latest deal to “ditch your PS3” and buy an Xbox One.

Sent through an email campaign (captured by NeoGAF), the new offer provides a discount that allows gamers to trade in previous generation consoles of your choice (either a PS3, Xbox 360 S, or Xbox 360 E) and receive a $100 retail store credit toward the purchase of an Xbox One at that time.

The deal runs from now until March 2, 2014, with the terms and conditions being that the console must power on and be fully functional, and also include the original components that came with it (power cable, A/V cable, etc.), and not be password-locked. With this deal now in place for the next several weeks, trading in an old console toward an Xbox One puts it at $399, the same price point as its competition, the PS4.

How does the new deal on offer from the Microsoft Store sound to you? You have until March 2nd to make your decision.
