Microsoft Wants to Expand the Fable Franchise to TV, Books, Toys and Companion Apps

Apparently Microsoft has found another target franchise to turn into a cross-media experience, and posted a new career opportunity ad seeking a Franchise Business Manager for the Fable series.

The ad explicitly mentions that Lionhead is “looking to expand the IP into other areas such as video games to books, toys and TV as well as companion game opportunities” in order to turn it into one of the “top entertainment brands”

Interestingly two similar ads have been published for the Halo series as well, even if those mention only books, toys and video and we already pretty much knew about that.

Would you buy a Fable toy? I probably would. I know, I’m a sucker like that.
