Microsoft’s 1/21 Event Will Show Innovation, News for Xbox and PC, Focus on Platform and Capabilities

on January 15, 2015 8:58 PM

This evening Microsoft’s Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer revealed a few more details on the Windows 10 event Microsoft is going to host on January 21st.

To a user that asked if we are going to get new game announcements, Spencer responded that those won’t be the focus:

He also mentioned that Microsoft itself, Xbox and Windows will all receive news, and that we’re going to see “Microsoft’s Innovation.”

It’s hard to guess what the event will be about, even if virtual reality is a strong candidate. Considering the recent ramping up of mentions of Kudo Tsunoda, it’s most probable that we’ll hear about the new project of the former Kinect poster boy.

If you’re wondering where you’ll be able to watch the event, it will be livestreamed here.
