As part of a 20 minute long chat with Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, Microsoft Game Studios Vice President Phil Spencer mentioned the games fans are going to be able to get their greedy paws on at Gamescom from August the 21st to August the 25th (only four days, from the 22nd to the 25th, will be open to the general public) and a few more interesting details.
Microsoft will have the biggest booth of its history, and hands-on stations will include Forza Motorsport 5 , Dead Rising 3, Ryse, Killer Instinct, Zoo Tycoon and Titanfall.
He also specified that the showcase event on tuesday morning will include a really short presentation on stage, talking about some “Unique exclusive” coming to Xbox One, but most of the time will be dedicated to the press spending time with the developers and with their games. It will basically be “a room with a lot of hands-on”. There will also be a “community showcase” in the evening.
There won’t be streaming, but there will be “video snippets” and news released through the day on Xbox Wire and Twitter.
