Mighty No. 9 Reaches 1.5 Million Stretch Goal, Will Have New Game Plus and Turbo Mode

Keiji Inafune’s Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter campaign has just surpassed the $1.5 Million mark, which nets it another stretch goal–the game will now feature a New Game Plus and Turbo Mode. The stretch goals themselves have been adjusted and now the PS3/Xbox 360/Wii U versions are $300,000 less than before.

Thanks to the fans and backers’ feedback, Mighty No. 9 is $300,000 closer to getting console releases. The development team consolidated the stretch goals and moved the PS3/360/Wii U version one from $2.5 Million to $2.2 Million. The “Making of” documentary was also moved up from $2 Million to $1.75 Million:

As you might have noticed, these two adjustments got rid of the “???” goals in between and added one at the end, which means that the team will have to think of something even grander than a console release. I, for one, am looking forward to seeing what comcept USA, or the fans, will think off. You can contribute to the Kickstarter by going here to do so.
