Nintendo has announced that their social network Miiverse will be receiving a major redesign later this summer. This is meant to improve the sharing feature between its users and to archive your gaming memories. It will also add a screenshot album feature, play journals, and discussions.
The screenshot album will allow users to store to 100 screenshots in their own private space, thus it won’t be visible to other users. In the other hand, play journals are meant to encourage users to share their experiences with other uses by writing journal entries about games as they’re playing them.
Communities have been modified to support these features, with posts being divided into Play Journal Entries, Drawings, and Discussions, which will facilitate searching for each kind of post.
