With more and more big things in store for Minecraft each year, MineCon will return once again in 2015 with this year set to take place in London, and as of next week, you can purchase a ticket to ride out and experience all things Minecraft.
Following previous confirmation that MineCon 2015 would take place in London this July, developer Mojang announced that tickets for MineCon 2015 will begin going on sale next week, starting March 27th, 2015. Mojang clarified that 10,000 tickets be going on sale for the event, with the first wave of 5,000 on sale on Friday, March 27th, at 6pm GMT – the second wave of tickets will be available the following day on Saturday, March 28th, at 12pm GMT.
Tickets for the event will retail at £129 (approx. $194) each for the entire two-day event, though Mojang clarified that tickets for the event can not be traded or resold through other means – tickets for the event will be sold and managed through Eventbrite.
MineCon 2015 will be the fourth annual rendition of the massively-popular event, running from July 4th-5th and featuring “tons of panels, lots of exhibitors showing off cool things they are doing with Minecraft, and a bunch of interactive attractions during the event. In addition, MineCon 2015 will also be providing other perks and events such as a Saturday night party, costume contest, and other fun giveaways of all things Minecraft.
