How's progress coming along on the recently revealed Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft? In a fairly recent livestream, the developers showed off what Minecraft: Switch Edition will be looking like.

While the stream is a bit dorky and awkward -- as you would imagine from the developers of Minecraft -- they give us roughly 10 minutes of footage from the main game. The highlight is clearly the co-op modes, which allow you to play with a buddy in either horizontal or vertical split-screen.

Minecraft: Switch Edition was formally announced earlier this year, though we only got actual footage of the game at the latest Nintendo Direct. The game is set to launch on May 11, 2017. Check out the livestream below:
