Nintendo has heard your cries and has announced a new amiibo-centric game for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U: Mini Mario & Friends amiibo Challenge. The game, which takes notes from the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series, lets players tap compatible amiibo to access character-specific level.

So far, listed compatible figures include Yoshi, Toad, Luigi, Mario, Peach, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Baby Bowser, and Rosalina. Each mini-character will have exclusive powers to clear the levels.

Interestingly, Nintendo is approaching a tiered release schedule for this. The game will first be available in “Early Access” on March 25, 2016 to people who buy amiibo from Best Buy, GameStop, or Amazon. The game will also be available to download for free on Nintendo eShop beginning April 28th.
