Torn Banner Studios, the development team behind Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and NeverMine have released a major update for its current multiplayer FPS Mirage: Arcane Warfare. The new update, dubbed The Gladiator, is the first major content patch the game has received since it launched on PC on May 23, 2017. In addition to the massive content update, the team also dropped a new trailer showcasing the update, which can be seen below.

The new update, which came as a free patch today includes new content for Mirage: Arcane Warfare that should be a nice addition to the game. Included in the update are two new maps; The Pit and Old Arena. In The Pit, players will have to avoid an exploding geyser in the middle of the map, while in Old Arena players will have to battle high in remote mountains while avoiding falling through a collapsed floor. The Taurant class will also be getting a new double handed weapon; the greatsword. The Alchemancer, Vypress, and Vigilist are also getting some sweet new magic abilities. Perhaps the biggest inclusion to the game is the addition of bot-assisted servers. In certain 6v6 and 3v3 maps and modes, bot opponents will be added or removed as other players join or leave the match to keep the teams properly populated throughout the match.

Mirage: Arcane Warfare is currently available on PC via Steam for $29.99. You can read our review of Mirage: Arcane Warfare where we awarded it with a 7 out of 10.
