In Life is Feudal, players don life in an unforgiving, archaic medieval realm where everyone must work together in order to gather resources, craft tools and shelter, and hopefully establish society in a feudal system. Of course, the setting being ‘feudal’ means that everyone has a role to play, whether that be as a farmer or even royalty. Bitbox explains how the team expects the system to work after they discover that they are not alone in the world.

“[Players] will quickly meet up with others to form groups, then guilds, and finally work their way up to complete medieval societies and nation-states.

“Players working together will divide up duties and play out various roles in the game, be they hunters, gatherers, defenders of their village or brigands attacking other encampments”
