ModNation Racers Goes

Sony outed yesterday that there will be a forthcoming patch for their frantic kart racer that aims to help lower the difficulty of the game’s career mode. Apparently this has upset quite a few players since the game was released, knowing that the career mode only had one difficulty and it was “hard”. With all the luck-based racing and rubber-banding that almost always comes with any sort of kart racer like this, I can see where a rather aggressive AI might be a little difficult to stomach.

The upcoming patch will add another difficulty setting to allow for less stressful progression. This patch will also supposedly speed up the dreaded loading times players have had to suffer through since launch. If that isn’t a turn-off, I don’t know what is. Still, it’s a fun game to pick up if you’re into the genre.
