Following the recent announcement of Momodora V, bringing the Momodora series to the realm of 3D for the first time, the game is being showcased at Bitsummit in Kyoto.

During a stage event, Dangen Entertainment Content Connoisseur Nayan Ramachandran presented the first raw gameplay, which you can see at the bottom of the post.

Ramachandran mentioned that the game has been in development less than a year, and the team at Bombservice intends to release it about two years from now. They have a strong motivation t to demonstrate that they can create a 3D Momodora.

We also hear that the publisher would like to release the game on as many platforms as possible. While there is nothing that they can announce right now, a console release (on top of the traditional PC platform) is something the're definitely looking at, and Ramachandran added that it would be "silly" not to.

He also mentioned that the publisher currently works with PC, PS4 and Switch, and whether or not Momodora V (which is still a working title) will come to all of those platforms is yet to be seen. It will come down to time and hardware capability, but as far as wanting to do it, the answer is "absolutely."
