Monolith’s Developer Blog Confirms Online Components for Xenoblade Chronicles X

Monolith Soft’s developer blog updated today with some interesting new information, including the confirmation that Xenoblade Chronicle X will have online components.

Monolith first detailed their (mis)adventures with the official site; how they opened the site without Nintendo’s approval (that was resolved later with the publisher’s blessing), and then how the devs underestimated the potential site traffic and was forced to reassess their server plan with their site host.

Finally, at the bottom of the post, they wrote:

Eh? Online elements? [The game] will definitely have some.

As for what these elements are, that hasn’t been revealed as of yet. I’m personally gunning for four-player online co-op.
